Please read our policies carefully before booking your adventure.
To confirm your spot on an expedition, a non-refundable advance payment of 50% of the total tour cost is required. The remaining balance must be cleared 30 days prior to the departure date. For bookings made within 30 days of the expedition, 100% payment is mandatory at the time of booking. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation solely at your discretion, with no refund of the advance.
In the event of cancellation by the participant, the following charges apply:
Trip Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to insufficient enrollment or force majeure. In such cases, a full refund or a credit voucher for a future trip will be provided. We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by you (e.g., flight tickets, gear purchase).
By booking an expedition with Prashant Adventure, you acknowledge that our trips involve travel to remote, high-altitude, and often unpredictable environments (e.g., Spiti, Zanskar, Ladakh). You voluntarily assume all risks associated with such travel, including but not limited to:
Prashant Adventure, its owners, guides, and partners act only as facilitators. We are NOT LIABLE for:
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prashant Adventure from any claims, causes of action, or demands caused by their own negligence or events beyond our control.
We operate in the Himalayas, where nature dictates the schedule. Road closures due to landslides, heavy snowfall, or political unrest are real possibilities.
If a trip is delayed, extended, or rerouted due to such events:
1. Any additional costs for accommodation, food, and transport will be borne by the
participant directly.
2. No refunds will be given for unused services (e.g., missed hotel nights) due to
itinerary changes.
3. The Expedition Leader has the final authority to alter the route for the safety of
the group.
Medical facilities in Spiti and Ladakh are basic and sparse.
1. You must be medically fit for high-altitude travel.
2. In case of a medical emergency (AMS, injury), the cost of evacuation (helicopter,
ambulance, private vehicle) and hospital treatment is the sole responsibility of
the participant.
3. Comprehensive Travel Insurance covering high-altitude rescue is
mandatory.
Respect for the mountains, locals, and fellow travelers is non-negotiable. Zero
tolerance for:
- Drug use or excessive alcohol consumption during drives.
- Disrespectful behavior towards local staff or culture.
The Expedition Leader reserves the right to terminate the trip for any participant
violating these rules, with no refund.
